Hi, I’m Molly!
Public Relations Student
I am an ambitious, detail-oriented student at Auburn University, dedicated to both my academic and professional growth. During my time at Auburn, I have balanced my academic development with active community involvement. Off campus, I completed a Public Relations internship with the City of Fairhope, Alabama, my hometown. On campus, I have served as a Student Recruiter for the University for two years, served on the Executive Board of my sorority as Recruitment Chair, and worked as a YoungLife Leader at Auburn High School for the past three years.
My passion for Public Relations stems from a deep interest in building relationships. I have always valued human connection, and my coursework has further deepened my understanding of the power of strategic communication. I am eager to apply these skills to positively influence others and make a meaningful impact in the world of PR.
Early on
I was born and raised in Fairhope, Alabama, and it will always be one of my favorite places. My parents are from Baldwin County, and I have one sister who is four years older than me. Growing up, I found community through involvement. I was a cheerleader throughout middle and high school and an active member of several clubs, such as Student Government, National Honor Society, Spanish Club, and Future Business Leaders of America. I was also honored to be a Dogwood Trail Court Member, which is a prestigious recognition in my hometown. I served over 200 community service hours as an Ambassador for the Eastern Shore for one year. These opportunities helped me grow into a strong communicator and leader, skills that have further developed in college.
My values
I believe that the values of community, creativity, and gratitude are what truly bring us together. A strong community thrives on open, honest communication, where everyone’s voice is heard. Creativity helps us find new ways to connect, solve problems, and bring our unique qualities to the table. Gratitude encourages us to appreciate what we have and the people around us, even when we don’t see eye to eye. Christianity reminds me that we’re all part of a larger family, called to love and serve one another, just as Christ showed us through His life. Love is selfless and unconditional, offering grace even when it’s difficult. By embracing these values, we can build deeper relationships and create a space where everyone feels they belong.
